My Dear Readers,
First of all, I want to thank every one of you from the bottom of my heart, for the amazing start you have given to The Conservative Cauldron. I could not have asked for a better reception! But then again, we already know that conservative Witches and Pagans are the most welcoming people there are!
Secondly, now that we are officially underway this presidential election season, I want to be your voice as much as I possibly can. My political involvement may take me to many places where candidates, local and regional, and some national, will be attending and/or speaking. I know that conservative Witches and Pagans are as concerned as any other group of conservative Americans about the future of our country. We are just as alarmed about the economy, immigration, crime, America’s standing abroad, and many other issues, as other Americans. But what I would like to know from you, the reader is, are there issues you feel that the conservative Witch and Pagan community are especially concerned about, and would like for our potential and present Republican elected officials to know about? Is it religious rights and freedoms for all? Is it environmental issues? Let me know what you think. The mission of The Conservative Cauldron is to let our Republican elected officials know that, #1 we do exist, and #2 that we most certainly do vote.
Tell me what you would like for me to tell them what we as a community are focused on and would like for them to be focused on as well. And once again, thank you all so very much for reading The Conservative Cauldron.
I would love to see republicans start really considering true implementation of states rights. Tell the fed boys they have no jurisdiction and to go pound sand. As a realist I understand that this couldn't be done 100% in one swoop. Just pick an agency that clearly over steps their boundaries on a regular basis and kick them out of the state. Pick one and I have a feeling the rest will fall, it might be slow motion but it will be inevitable.
